1. Sacred Games 2:-

Indeed, Sacred Games is one of the best web series that powerfully portrays action, crime, and drama. Having its origins in the Sacred Games novel, the plot revolves primarily around Sartaj Singh, a police officer from Mumbai, and a gangster called Gaitonde who also thinks God is him. You’re going to find yourself going through a series of mysteries, drama, deeper law abuse, and plenty of combat and action that make the watch worthwhile. The whole story is planned as part of a game or a match, as the name of this Indian web series implies, and keeps you glued with lots of excitement to the end of each episode. Sartaj Singh has kept his truthfulness and discipline alive in between all the madness of corruption, murders, and deception, and finds himself in some way connected to the gangster. This police officer also makes every possible attempt after the gangster receives possible threats to save Mumbai from any catastrophe. How exciting do these sounds all sound? It is a must web series to be watched by people of every age, featuring on Netflix and consisting of notable casts such as Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and more. Season 1 is already out, and on Netflix, you can watch it.

2. Mirzapur:-

Mirzapur has undeniably taken the audience by storm with an impeccable performance and a thrilling storyline, an Indian crime thriller series seen on Amazon Prime. The series is mainly based in Mirzapur, with Ghazipur, Jaunpur, Azamgarh, Lucknow, and Gorakhpur shooting some scenes. The plot revolves around guns, the mafia, drugs, and chaos. The tale revolves around Akhandanand Tripathi, who earned crores by exporting carpets (played by Pankaj Tripathi). Tripathi ends up becoming Mirzapur’s mafia boss and his unworthy, dictatorial heir, son Munna, follows the footsteps of his father to continue the legacy of anarchy, lawlessness, and mafiagiri. Watching the drama unfold, it then becomes thrilling. Pankaj Tripathi, Vikrant Massey, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Divyendu Sharma, Rasika Dugal, Harshita Gaur, and Kulbhushan Kharbanda are the leading stars of the series.

3. Bard of Blood:-

A seven-episode series produced by Sharukh Khan’s production house, The Red Chillies Entertainment, is an Indian web television series starring Emran Hashmi and released on Netflix, India. The show tells the story of Kabir Anand, a disgraced intelligence agent who returns to the field to rescue Taliban-captured agents. The show deals with cross-border terrorism and includes rogue Indian agents battling with Pakistani intelligence services, set in the troubled Pakistani province of Balochistan. Despite the action, the plot is profoundly ingrained in the representation of its characters, reinforcing xenophobic stereotypes and Islamophobic clichés. A rather disturbing feature of the series is that the character’s voice details in some cases, which is an obvious truth for the other characters involved in the scene. In the seemingly skewed narrative, writing as well as direction, the series fails to impress the viewer and critics alike.

4. Code M:-

The web series with which the popular Jennifer Winget debuted on the digital streaming platforms, ALT Balaji’s thriller web series Code M, is composed of eight episodes that impress the audience to a great extent. The series poses outbound problems relating to casteism, homosexuality, killings of honor, and much more. The story starts with the pursuit of two terrorist suspects by three military officers, and while the authorities attempt to shut down and close the investigation, Monica Mehra (played by Jennifer Winget) is called as the investigating officer for the case. As Monica meets Angad Sandhu as their legal counsel, who is also Monica’s former partner, love relationships intertwine with political affairs. On a weekend, it makes for a fantastic watch over a few spare hours, but falls a little short of making a permanent and impressionable impact on the viewer; it does not take the audience by surprise but wins maximum points for locations for film and shooting.

5. Breathe:-

Breathe, a crime series released in January 2019, has undeniably brought the storytelling of India to another level. The conspiracy revolves around the lives of average men who encounter unforeseen circumstances.
