Vijayamritham Scheme Kerala 2020, It’s a welfare scheme which is for disabled students launched by Kerala Government. The scheme is for those who are part of the state’s primary education. Students from different sections of society are eligible to apply for the scheme. The scheme was announced by the Chief Minister of Kerala. The financial help is given to students who are disabled. The amount given under the scheme is 10,000 rupees. It’s a social welfare scheme of the Kerala government. The scheme enables the creation of awareness among disabled children and persons about their rights and benefits they can avail under the scheme.
The scheme will enable us to bring a positive change in society towards disabled children and people. People will not consider them as a burden instead they will have a positive attitude and behavior towards them. NSS/NPC units conduct various programs like medical camps for disabled children and persons for their welfare and well-being.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE SCHEME (VIJAYAMRITHAM SCHEME KERALA 2020)
Students who are residing in the state of Kerala are eligible to apply for the scheme.
Students who have passed a degree from government-aided institutions will get the financial benefit of the scheme.
Students who are disabled are only eligible for the scheme.
The educational details which require good marks obtained in UG or PG courses like for 60%.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR REGISTRATION (VIJAYAMRITHAM SCHEME KERALA 2020)
i. Residential details
ii. Identification poof which includes Aadhaar card, voter id, ration card, etc.
iii. Educational Certificate of completing a course and accurate, proper mark sheet.
iv. Bank documents signed by an authorized officer to receive the funds directly into the bank account.
v. Medical certificate to know about the disability the student is suffering from.

The department of social justice of Kerala is determined to provide quality education to disabled children. The scheme is needed to provide financial help to the disabled students who have scored good marks in their graduation course or post-graduation course.
The scheme aims to motivate, encourage the disabled students who are intelligent and brave. Through this scheme, the department of social justice wants to mainstream the differently-abled children and create awareness among them for their fundamental rights.

The help will be given to disabled students in educational institutions to achieve the benefits of the scheme. The successful launch of the scheme, it is expected that the possibility is there to create awareness among disabled children for getting financial help under this scheme.
